Sanding dreams
Pasha, an aerospace engineering student at a top St Petersburg university, dreams of space. His professors expect great things of him, and he’s offered an internship abroad at a space company. Then word comes from home: his father has died, leaving his mother and younger brother alone in Shoyna, a remote village where the sand is slowly swallowing the houses. Pasha has to go back. But can he give up the dream?
